Want to become an accountant or work in a finance role? The AAT Accounting Qualification is your route to an exciting professional career.
Whether you want to start earning straight away, go on to chartered studies, or set up your own practice, the career options are endless.
The AAT Accounting Qualification is made up of three qualifications across three levels - each qualification combines the latest industry knowledge with practical work skills, giving you the competitive edge.
Here at Vale FT, we recommend starting your studies at the Intermediate level with the Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping. If you are working in a finance role, this will be a good introduction to accounting and will enable you to progress to the Advanced Diploma or the Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping followed by the Professional Diploma in Accounting. For more details on what is studied at each level, see the AAT dates and prices page.
Each level within the AAT qualification is a standalone qualification. It is possible to be AAT qualified having only studied the Professional level. The AAT Professional Diploma gives you exemptions from papers F1 to F3 of the ACCA qualification and other exemptions from the early stages of CIMA and ACA.
We are also an AAT Assessment Centre. You can book a computer based exam (CBE) with us at a date to suit you. See our booking page for details.
