Vale Financial Training, formed in 2011, is a financial tuition provider based on the Harwell Science Campus near Didcot in Oxfordshire

Where do we teach?


We operate in dedicated, contemporary teaching rooms on the Harwell Science Campus, near Didcot, Oxfordshire. There is free parking for all our students.

ACA qualified in Audit with Grant Thornton, London, followed by an internal move to their National Audit Training division for 5 years. Since 2001, has been teaching locally at Oxford Brookes University on ACCA and MSc audit courses. Asuka is an approved marker on the ICAEW Case Study.

Professional Career

AAT qualified and a PGCE (Oxford Brookes University). Taught AAT, ACCA and A-level Accounting courses at Abingdon & Witney College from 2000, becoming Programme Area Manager, then Curriculum Manager across both campuses before leaving to teach at Bournemouth & Poole FE College in 2014. Also teaches AAT at Swindon College. Currently leads the AAT Professional Diploma course here at Vale FT.

AAT and PGCE qualified (Oxford Brookes University). Following a career in bookkeeping and accounting, started teaching AAT at Abingdon & Witney College in 2002. Taught AAT levels 2 and 3 and City and Guilds Double Entry Bookkeeping Levels 1 and 2 whilst managing and mentoring the freelance lecture team. Currently teaches the AAT Foundation Bookkeeping Certificate and bookkeeping units on the Advanced Diploma.

We are based in Oxfordshire on the Harwell Science Campus within easy reach of the A34 from either the Milton or Chilton junctions. There is ample free car parking. Regular bus services run from nearby Didcot Parkway station.
