About the AAT Qualification

Whether you want to become an accountant or work in a finance role. The AAT Accounting Qualification is your route to an exciting professional career.

Qualification Structure

The AAT Accounting Qualification is made up of three qualifications across three levels. Each level within the AAT qualification is a standalone qualification. It is possible to be AAT qualified having only studied the Professional level.

Study Route

Here at Vale FT, we recommend starting your studies at the Foundation level with the Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping.  If you are working in a finance role, this will be a good introduction to accounting and will enable you to progress to the  Advanced Diploma or the Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping followed by the Professional Diploma in Accounting

Next Steps

The AAT Professional Diploma gives you exemptions from papers AB, MA & FA of the ACCA qualification and other exemptions from the early stages of CIMA and ACA.

Whether you want to start earning straight away, go on to chartered studies, or set up your own practice, the career options are endless.
